Hello! Thanks for visiting my blog! I am new to blogging so just bear with me as I figure this out. My name is Natilya Parmer and I am 21 years old and excited for what God has in store for my life. I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading the Bible, and drinking Starbucks. Being outside and being active are two other things I love. I enjoy being in God's creation and soaking up the sun on the sunny day! :)
I became a Christian when I was 5 years old and growing up in a Christian family I believed in God and knew who he was. It was not until i recommitted my life in November of 2011 that I began to really get to know Jesus in an intimate relationship. He has since allowed me to be broken but through those times of brokenness my relationship with Jesus has been strengthened and my faith deepened. I thank God for every good time and every hard time.
I have been so blessed with the opportunity to participate in Potter's Field Missions' IGNITE Missions Training School. I am sure this program is going to stretch me and lead me even closer to my Savior as I dedicate the next year of my life to his service. I am excited to be apart of God's mission field in this way but I am going to miss my family, friends, and church family!
Soon after rededicating my life, I choose Romans 5:1-5 to be my life verse. It is a verse I often think of and turn to. It has come to mean so much to me over the years and I am glad to share it with you!
"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." - Romans 5:1-5
